The YSF12 program is diverse this year, with a strong focus on the environment and the ‘why’ of surfing. With 9 Feature Films, Live Music, a Live Auction, Art Exhibitions and Q & A sessions with anecdotes on the making of the films with the film directors and surf legends, YSF’12 is an event not to be missed.
Some of our special guests this year are:
• Tim Baker - Author of best selling surfing books
• Taylor Steele – Multi- Award winning filmmaker
• Simon Anderson – legend, noted for creating the Thruster
• Peter Webb – Artist, well known for his Quicksilver art designs

Every night holds a different program of films, music, & talks. All films screened will be in competition for the Best Feature Film Award, Best Short Film Award, Best Cinematography Award and People’s Choice Award. Award presentations will take place on Sunday night, make sure you are there to experience and join in the film makers exuberance!
